Reverend Tony Lorenzen
Reverend Tony Lorenzen
Welcome to my site. This is a place, like any minister’s study, where I keep my writings and sermons, my resources and library, as well as a place for us to sit and chat and get to know each other.
If you are interested in having me officiate at your wedding, celebrate a child dedication or conduct a funeral or memorial services, please see the Rites of Passage section of the site.
The section for Search Committees is a restricted area, accessible by password only. One member of the Search Committee should email for the password to that section of the site.
Since 1995 I have been teaching the course The Bible as Literature at Fitchburg State College through the Division of Graduate and Continuing Education. The Bible Lit section of the site contains resources and materials for that course for students and anyone else who is interested.
My sermons/writings page has links to the text version of my sermons and my sermon podcast enables you to listen to sermons.
I encourage you to visit my blog, the Sunflower Chalice, where I explore the interconnections between the spiritual life, the political life and popular culture.
